Tickhill Tithe Awards for 1839
The following information is transcribed from the copy of the Tickhill Tithe Awards for 1839 that are held by Doncaster Archive Services. This consists of a very large map of Tickhill, showing the location of every house, garden and field, each being numbered and then indexed in a hand-written book giving details about each property and its owner or occupier.
I have transcribed here the holdings of both Stables families living in Tickhill at this time. Unlike the Barnburgh Stableses, none of them owned their own land.
